Techno Abstractions, Noise

Morast is the electronics solo-project of Moritz Morast, that explores the melting continnum of noise, techno and free musical forms. The music is based on improvisational immediacy with Morasts pure-data patch, all sounds created in real-time, resulting in a multifaceted swirl of tribal noise, introversive ambiences and danceable industrial, based on giddy feedback loops, cut up by shattered drums and heavy metal distortion. His debut record “Drawing Figures into Negative Space” was released by Czech imprint Baba Vanga
